Purchasing Photos Online

First I want to thank all of you for your support.  I have been involved in photography for many years and have thoroughly enjoyed getting back in to it with a vengeance in the digital age.  One thing I pride myself on is that I am not "just a guy with a camera" that discovered how easy it is to take digital pictures vs. the old film method.  I know the science behind the easy buttons to push.  My biggest hope is that it shows in my work.  That's where you are the judge.

I became interested in shooting pictures of dogs because - well - I like taking pictures of my own dog and I like competing in various events with my dog - another thing that sets me apart a bit, I am involved in the dog sports that I photograph and I absolutely love shooting great action shots of canine athletes doing what they love to do!

Again - thank you for your support over the past 2 years.  During this period I took a lazy attitude of just selling digital images to those interested.  In some ways that's a great deal - you effectively own the negative and can print the pic forever.  That type of arrangement was pretty rare in the dark ages of film photography.  Of course there are other issues - you have to go and pay again to print the photo, (and if you live in the country that's a pain), you had to tell me the size you intended to print it so I could format accordingly, etc etc.  And you had to write a check and address an envelope - funny how that's a pain these days but 10 yrs ago you did it over and over again paying bills etc????   ;-)              The plus side was you got a quality edited print that was optimized to look its best.  Let's face it - shooting a fast moving dog is not easy!  there will always be images that need to be cropped, they are a little crooked and need to be straightened, and I cant control the sun angle and how the pool is set up - and in Hunt Tests and Field Trials its even worse.  So sometimes we have to do things to fix these issues  - basically all things I used to do in a darkroom but now I can do it on a computer.

SO - all that is still in effect but more is added!  I have finally found a professional photographer support application that meets my needs.  With this service, when you decide to purchase an image I am notified so that I can make the necessary adjustments to ensure you get a quality photo that has had my eyes and hands on it.  With my new service contract with Photostockplus, you can choose the pictures you want, select the size(s) you want  and in a few simple clicks and they will show up on your doorstep!  In addition, a myriad of additional products are available - coffee mugs, photo books, calendars, plaques, greeting cards, high quality t-shirts ands sweatshirts,  - even BBQ aprons!

I will continue to provide electronic packages as before if that's what you desire, just email me as before with image file names and desired sizes.

The new service has been loaded with Discovery Green Houston 2010 photos.  I am offering a 15% discount for purchases from this event over $50 to get started.

If you wish to purchase products from earlier photos of your dog from previous events just email me and I will gladly upload those images to the service in a "miscellaneous" folder, due to storage space  I will not be uploading entire past events, but all future events will be supported!

And another thing - I will be able to get images up way way much sooner!

Thank you for your patronage, friendship, and patience as I make this transition!!
