Fall Hunt Test
Sunday, May 30, 2010 (held in May due to scheduling and excess heat in early Fall)
Photos are in order taken, on land there is generally a photo of the handler after the dog (taken during the honor), in water before the run; this will identify similar dogs.
Below are a few I found interesting.....
Here is the land test. Only 3 or 4 dogs of the 28 picked up mark #2 cleanly. The dark brown you see is a shallow drainage depression that drove the dogs way to the left and forced many early handles due to the blind being hot - several dogs did pick it up (the blind). the "180 deg" dashed line is to show the camera distortion while shooting 3 images for panorama. That line is actually straight, so the swing from 1 to 3 was much greater than shown. Total of 10 passes out of 28 dogs.....
